Sankararaman murder case trial begins in Pondicherry
The two main accused in the Sankararaman murder case, Kanchi Seer Jayendra Saraswathi and his Junior Vijayendra Saraswathi are appearing before a sessions court here today for trial amid of tight security in and around the court.
The trial will be conducted by Principal District and Sessions Judge, M Chinnapandi.
Besides, the two seers, 22 others accused are likely to appear before the court in connection with the murder of Sankararaman, the manager of the Varadaraja Perumal Temple in Kancheepuram on September 3, 2004.
